The new Principal will come into a well-operating school that has made remarkable strides since its opening.  The school has built a strong faith community enhanced by a high degree of student engagement in the planning and implementation of the school's faith experiences.  The school offers a multi-level, college preparatory curriculum with 40 Pre-AP and AP courses.  Savio offers a STEM experience in all areas of study, incorporating cooperative learning and problem-solving approaches along with technology integration to enhance learning.  Extensive classes in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math) are offered, as well as 4-year Engineering and Computer Science programs, utilizing the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way curriculum.

Since the first graduating class in 2012, the school has had 41 National Merit Commended Scholars, 10 National Merit Scholars, and 19 National Hispanic Scholars.  PSAT, ACT and SAT scores consistently above the state and national averages.  Our graduates have been accepted to over 170 different colleges and universities.  Five alumni have followed the call to religious life.

St. Dominic Savio enjoys a faithful, supportive and engaged parent community.  The student body is diverse and active, participating in nearly 50 clubs, 10 athletic sports and a comprehensive fine arts program in the visual arts, instrumental music, choir, and theatre. The school fields multiple competitive Robotics teams each school year, and are the 2017 TAPPS 5A Academic Champions.
